No School Monday, March 2

Dear Hennessey school family,

This evening, district administrators were notified of a potential school threat through our anonymous reporting system, STOPit. We immediately contacted the Hennessey Police Department, who had been notified shortly before us and officers are now conducting a thorough investigation.

Out of an abundance of caution and to allow law enforcement and school officials to complete their work, there will be no school and no school activities tomorrow until further notice.

The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority. We hope to resume classes on Tuesday and will communicate with our school community as soon as more information is available.
