The ACT and SAT are both college entrance tests for Oklahoma colleges as well as many post-secondary institutions nationwide. Colleges use these scores in part for determining admission, scholarship awards, and placement in college level coursework. Students must register online to test and pay about 1-2 months prior to their selected test date. ACT fee waivers are available in the counselor office for up to two test dates for Juniors/Seniors that qualify for free/reduced lunch.
Students are encouraged to utilize available practice tests as well as their 10th grade PRE-ACT test results to assess readiness and prepare for the test.
HHS Students will also take the ACT during the Spring semester of their Junior year which serves as their state-mandated CCRA high school test for English and Math. This test administration will count as a college entrance exam.
